Arsenal SM-13K Next Generation Scope Mount with Picatinny Rail for AKS-74U variants, including rifles with side-folding stock. Not for use on SAM7K pistol variants.

The next generation of the SM-13 scope mount has arrived, the SM-13K! Built using the original SM-13 platform, the new SM-13K was shortened and angled toward the rear of the receiver, allowing the mount to sit behind the rear sight of the AKS-74U variants that have a notch sight like the SBRs, hinged dust covered AK pistols and other Krinkov variants. The SM-13K maintains the one-piece CNC precision machining and is manufactured from aircraft grade aluminum alloy for a minimum weight of 4.88 ounces and maximum strength.

The 5˝ long picatinny rail that runs along the rifle, from the end of the rear sight to the back of the dust cover, allows for attaching multiple devices at the same time or one device for the maximum eye relief. The SM-13K follows the contour of the rifle closely. The absolute low profile and the relief cut along the rail allow the use of hinged top covers with integrated sights even when the scope mount is attached to the rifle.

The SM-13K utilizes the time-proven steel adjustable locking mechanism that allows instantaneous attachment and release of the scope mount without any compromise to the accuracy or loss of zero. Unlike some other mounts that attach to unstable top covers or gas tubes, the SM-13K attaches to the side scope rail of AKS-74U variant rifles, which is tension adjustable and provides the most stable attaching platform on the rifle.

    FEATURES

    • Light-weight, precision, and highly rigid scope mount platform for military application:
The one-piece CNC precision machined SM-13K is manufactured from aircraft grade
aluminum alloy for the minimum weight of only 4.88 ounces and maximum strength.
    • Maximum-length Picatinny rail system for attaching top mounted devices, such as
scopes, red dot systems, night visions, and magnifiers:
This one-piece Picatinny rail that is 5˝ long and runs along the rifle (from the end of the
top cover to the rear of the integrated sight) to allow for an optic or device.
    • The lowest profile that adds the minimum to the bulk of the rifle to allow the use of
hinged top covers with integrated sights while the mount is installed:
The SM-13K is snug and contoured to the rifle with very little gap, an absolute low profile
with the relief cut along the rail allows the use of top hinged covers

Not Compatible with Arsenal SAM7K Pistols, SAM7SFK Rifles, Century Arms VSKA's, Vepr Folding Stock AK's or Zastava AK's.

    Finally got a SM-13K
Waited years for KVAR to get these. Glad I was able to buy one for my Krinkov.
